Bigwas. A 22-minute video strewing the New People's Army's successful tactical offensives nationwide. Different resource persons of the revolutionary movement detailed their accounts on military actions launched by the respective NPA Commands and reiterated the call for more offensives.

The video reiterates the correctness of armed struggle in solving the fundamental socio-economic and political problems of the country. It also debunks the poltical line of the regime that through its total war policy, the revolutionary movement will bow its head and will abandon the armed strugle. The regime succeeds only in aggravating the people's sufferings and pushing the army of the exploited and oppressed to the side of the armed revolution.

Bigwas recants the victory of the people's army vis-a-vis the military's vindictive attacks on civilians in retaliation for their defeat in the armed conflict with the NPA and causing the human rights situation in the country even worse. It also scored on the counter-revolutionary and anti-people "counter-insurgency" program of the US-Arroyo that ambitiously aims to crush the revolutionary movement in a short span of time but stirs only the deep anger of the people.

It deals primarily on the political and economic exploitation by the US-Arroyo regime on the Filipino people and the former's dirty machinations to stay in power. Massive election fraud in 2004 and the corruption scandals of the regime that come after the other draw the Filipino people to clamor for the ouster of the puppet regime. History taught the Filipino to rely on their strength in a broad united front to topple the rotten regime through people power.
