Through the years, the NDFP has remained firm with its principles in uniting the broadest number of revolutionary forces in the fight against US imperialism, bureaucrat capitalism and feudalism.
Since its founding in 1973, the NDFP has served the Filipino people in the weakening, isolation and overthrow of the revolution’s enemies — the imperialist United States and its local counterparts, the bureaucrat capitalists and despotic landlords. It has formed alliances with the forces of workers and peasants as well as the urban petty bourgeoisie and the national bourgeoisie.
The revolutionary forces under the NDFP will continue to engage the Philippine government in peace negotiations as an additional avenue to push forward the agenda of the national democratic revolution. At the same time, it calls on the Filipino people to continue intensifying mass struggles and the armed revolution to advance their aspirations for national liberation and social emancipation.
