One of the significant achievements of the peace talks between the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and the National Democratic Front (NDF) is the signing of the Joint Agreement on Safety and Immunity Guarantees (JASIG). But GPH's compliance for this matter is always put under serious question because of its brazen disregard of the agreement per se evident in the successive suspension of the peace negotiations and the continuous incarceration of NDF's consultants on the peace process.
